Thomas Chapin - Sideman gigs

Postby Coda » November 10th, 2013, 4:56 am

I've been eating up all of Chapins music. My favorites include: Anima, Menagerie Dreams, Ride, Skypiece. All of his work is just great. He should be an inspiration to all musicians.

I'd like to explore some of his side work. I'm not terribly deep into Mario Pavone's recordings and would be interested in hearing more. I'd also like to hear Thomas in different settings. Machine Gun isn't scoring high for me but I only have a live/studio recording to base my judgement. What are some of your favorite Chapin sideman tunes/CDs?
