Stephane, from quite some time on JazzcornerTalk. Been lost in the wild for a while. Maybe back.
Hi Ron!
Knew you would pull this off. Looks great!

Welcome, Stephane. Great to see you here, my friend.

Scott got this site up and running in no time. I kibitzed a lot on the sidelines. We had some help from son Justin, too.

Bill Stewart, pretty sure, yes.

Teamwork, huh? That's the best of things. I miss it most of the time.

I came here from Jazzcorner, where I rarely posted, but occasionally lurked. Learned much from the more knowledgeable posters at Jazzcorner. Kudos and good luck to Scott Dolan, Ron Thorne, and the other originators of this site!

As of yesterday, I WAS able to find the JC archive (at least much of it, anyway) via Google search

This is the index.

That is still quite nice. 1998-2003 were vintage years at Jazz Corner: Reynolds, DEEP, Nags, Brooksie, Conan, etc. I hope that it doesn't disappear. It would be nice to save it.

Welcome, John. Very nice to see you here.

Yeah, the archive you're talking about is one that Lois' techs saved on the changeover in 2003. Unfortunately, she has no such plans for archiving the past 10 years or so. It's kind of like watching a small, specialized library burn down.

Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in!

Hi all, Jimmy C in da house. I've been lurking here since day one. Didn't want to register until Scott and Ron did the heavy lifting and got most of the kinks out. I figure I did my part by staying out of their way. ;)

Good to be back with my friends again. All credit is due to Scott and Ron for their tireless work in getting this site up and running. Those two guys literally put their money where their mouths are. As Joanne would say, they're "A" people. Those are the type of people you want to surround yourself with.

Okay, then. Let the fucking party begin!

Good to have you among us, Jimmy. Welcome!

Thanks for the kind words. My son, Justin, has been a terrific help, too.

Hi, jbc and Ron. Glad to be here. And yes, I forgot to mention Justin who apparently was/is working behind the scenes, as it were. Good show, Justin. Also a big wave and kiss to Patti as well.

Patti says "Hi" as we head out the door to our daughter's home across town for our annual family get together and cookout.

We hope that you, Joanne and clan have a great day!

First off thank you very much to Ron and Scott for all the effort. Though throwing in the trick Filipino questions to register after the 4th Celebration. ;)

Now where was I? Some have asked some have wondered....why Blue Train?

It was my mother's favorite Jazz recording.
