Just saw the announcement for this band at another site. LPK is the Brian Lynch/Dafnis Prieto/Boris Koslov trio. An unusual/unique trio of instruments (trumpet, drums bass) but knowing these musicians, one that's sure to be a very musical one. I own many records featuring these guys so I'm psyched! They're playing at the Zinc Bar in Manhatten and also in Miami (I'll be there!). I'm a big Antonio Sanchez fan and am very happy for his success but IMO Prieto smokes him! Very much looking forward to this one!
