Chris Anderson
Chris Anderson
Never knew about Chris Anderson, until I heard Barry Harris talking about him in a masterclass.
Been pretty much listening to him non-stop for the past couple of weeks.

Re: Chris Anderson
Chris Anderson was an underrated pianist who made very few records as a leader. I have one of his albums on CD, My Romance, a 1960 VeeJay recording.

Re: Chris Anderson
Check out Anderson's recording, "A Blues One." I believe this one is with Ray Drummond and Billy Higgins.
Re: Chris Anderson
Anyone know a good source for his recordings?

Not quite, Scott. Lois contacted Stanley and urged him to join her forum and give me an argument. That's what I objected to, she was trying to create controversy so she could drum up business. I used to help her with the forum, but she turned out to be rather disgusting and unprincipled. The two actually deserve each other.

I just found this interesting clip with Chris Anderson singing as well as playing piano.
I also found two very interesting and informative interviews conducted by Ted Panken. Click on the link below.

Surely not all of a sudden. Less than half of a sudden at best.
