Spike Wilner announced this generous news on Facebook a few hours ago. Thanks, Spike!

Below is a link to an article from July, 2013 which explains how Smalls has creatively dealt with their income potential while trying to be respectful of their audience and musicians alike. Pretty clever solution, I think.

Before I sign up, Ron, any idea of what's there to be seen/heard?

David, there is a wide variety of talent on any given night. I always find something enjoyable. Typically, there are at least 2 groups, sometimes 3, depending upon the number of sets each one plays. Lots of young up-and-coming players make their way onto Smalls' stage, along with some veterans. You may not recognize the names of some of the musicians, but I think you'll be amazed at the breadth of talent.

Here are links to their calendar and Facebook page which is updated daily. In my opinion, it's really a no-brainer to watch and listen to their offerings. The video is not perfect, but the audio is remarkably good, especially when using headphones as I usually do. I've been enjoying this live stream for a couple of years, and was glad to be a subscriber and contribute, in a small way, to its ongoing success.
