I laughed out loud at a few of his comments and while he was critical of a few pieces I thought he maintained a generally positive vibe.

great reading this. Nice to hear a great older musician get honest.

Something like it might be good and it might be something that the musician believes in but I don't have to like it.

Mr. Heath has a good sense of humour about himself.

Just loved it. How great it can be when musicians are talking about music they are listening to, because it's something they really care about. And since they are "in the moment," their personalities can really come out. Tooty is a total pisser.

I miss the old Blindfold tests because the musician were honest in their opinions. The test became the only worthwhile thing is DownBeat which is why I dropped it. This was wonderful, true opinions by a great artist.
