Dennis González Yells At Eels featuring Aakash Mittal - Colorado at Clinton
Luís Lopes' Humanization 4tet - Live in Madison

A good listening session this morning, to get in the mood for finalizing the release prep of these two discs packed with stories of friendship and family ties, selecting excerpts for the website. I love these guys!
(Shameless promotion of sorts, but sincere statement)

I have these two on the way, I'm looking forward to hearing them!

I see it available at Amazon so I'm assuming it's available.

Have listened to an advance copy and I really like this one a lot!

Last night Sirius/XM played the all-time best version of "The Man I Love," a 11+ minute version which Errol Garner played every way possible.

It helped clear my ears of an earlier airing of late Miles Davis crap.

Do you own other Pepper recordings?

Great list, jaka.

Lots of my favorites on there. Bruford and Levin have been among them for years, and my sons hipped me to Talk Talk in the 80s.

Some of them I hadn't listened in a while, and was surprised how well they stood the test of time.

I recently re-bought several Talk Talk CDs that I had previously traded away or had on cassette years ago. I don't think I really appreciated how good they were when I first had them.

Right, they're pretty amazing. Too bad it all stopped after Laughing Stock and the solo effort of Mark Hollis.

And, oh yes, I so have to go back to these ones. :)
