They're new to me, but I'm loving this joint. It's really raw garagey post-punk with a singer who evokes Siouxsie Sioux. What's not to love?

Haven't heard much new, but Johnny Marr's "The Messenger" is solid from start to finish.
The newest video is very nice.

Speedy Ortiz - Major Arcana
Not super-innovative or anything. Kind of a 90s indie retread in some ways. But a pretty solid and fun record.

I heard a long interview with him on the NPR syndicated show "Sound Opinions" and found him to be a bright guy and it was very interesting to hear him discuss what he listened to as he he developed as a musician.

Deerhunter - Monomania
Distortion-heavy but melodic experimental psychedelic pop. It reminds me of Elephant 6 bands like Animal Collective

The track isn't bad, despite the complete lack of a lyrical voice. You guys are congratulating the video, but I think it had to be made that way, Johnny Marr walking around completely alone, because you can't encounter other people while costumed like that and not get laughed at.
