Jazztalk turns 2!
As Jazztalk celebrates its 2nd birthday on June 26th, we extend our thanks to those who have made it possible to keep this forum going, including those generous members who have made financial contributions.
We realize that in this era, it's an uphill battle to compete with the big social media sites, but we also realize that each provide a viable means by which to share ideas, commentary, music, and much more. One format is not mutually exclusive of the other. This is your board, so please utilize it to its fullest.
Please note that Jazztalk.net will be upgrading its software soon, which we hope will make your posting experience smoother and more pleasant overall. All platforms, from smart phones to tablets to laptops & desktops will be supported. You can add your thoughts to a discussion while standing in line at the supermarket. We're coming to you! Please send us a Private Message if you have any problems to report.
Special thanks to our technical guru, Justin (jtx), and our moderator, Rita (bluenoter), for their dedication and hard work behind the scenes.
Please stop by soon and start a new thread, or post on an existing one. Viewers and posters unite!
Cheers,
Ron Thorne

You know you've been away too long when you have to login fresh. Happy anniversary JT! And thank you, RT, for keeping the flame alive. Sorry I haven't been a very good bellows.

Thanks for all your hard work, guys!

I seldom have anything to say. (I almost said "...have anything worth saying" but value never stops me!) Still I'm glad this place is here. Good lurking.

Wow, the board looks different today? New software? or are my eyes and mind failing me?
Re: Jazztalk turns 2!
Yes, indeed, the site software has been upgraded. More info available here. Please give the site a test drive, and let us know how it goes!

Re: Jazztalk turns 2!
You're very welcome, everyone. It's my pleasure to do what I can to continue the journey on this special little jazz board. I appreciate everyone's involvement at every level.
As posters, it would be wonderful if you would tell a friend about us or nudge a current member to post again or more often. Increased activity spurs thought, interest and more activity, a positive cycle.
