I've seen some episodes of PBS's Finding Your Roots hosted by Henry Louis Gates Jr, which is all about DNA-based genealogy. I was thinking that getting a test could lead to some interesting information. Especially since I don't know a lot about my family history, particularly on my father's side.

23andMe offers that report too. but women dont carry much of the genes for genealogy. supposed to stand on Y chromosome. Ill see and have my son tested instead.
