Didn't realize there was one. That's a nice feature.

Hi. I'm several people from Jazz Central Station: scrotum h boy, justin elbowhole, splinky (the poet), shoe king irving, Vanessa from Skidmore (and probably some others).

But here they have all been combined into the douchebag known as steve(thelil).

I'm cookie and I was a regular at JCS and JC for years. I met many friends on both boards, some I've met in person and others I hope to meet. :)

I am a jazz musician (vocal/piano). I live in Ithaca, NY where I've taught at both Ithaca College (alma mater) and Cornell. I also taught at Syracuse University for a year. I perform throughout CNY and the Southern Tier (primarily Syracuse and Elmira) with many bands from big bands down to just li'l ol' solo me. Recently began playing and singing in a blues band. :)

I love music of many, many types. Love straight-ahead jazz the best.

I am from the State o'Maine and am a Moxie freak!!!

Good to see you folks! :)

Sorry for the slip of the key (pun intended), David. I know exactly where Key Largo is, having spent many weekends there with my parents when I was a young lad living in Miami. Lovely place. Fished with my Dad there many times, catching Mangrove Snapper & others. We also enjoyed times in Marathon, rarely going to Key West, actually. Then, at age 12, I headed north to Alaska with my parents. That could easily rank as a move from one extreme to another, huh?

Thanks, Ron. Some little technical glitch. Probably on my end: I'm a Windows 8 user

Anyway, just wanted to add my welcome to David Gitin. I used to listen to some of his programs from Pacific Grove.

Bakersfield? They've got computers now?

Only kidding. I was a south central valley kid for a long time: Shafter, Wasco, Porterville, Terra Bella, Springville...

A big welcome to my drummer pal, the man with the Marine Pearls ... Enforcer!

Glad to have you with us, my mofo.

Man, I just unearthed a JCer in The Spotlight thread from 2006. Whoa.

He was kind enough to stretch out on the virtual Blawless Barcalounger and share his thoughts on some important things. Enjoy.

Those faces look familiar, but I'm not certain, Valerie. I think you may have shared them before.
