I am physically limited for travel. I don't even go much to L.A. except when my son comes out here and plays. I listen to Sirius/Xm Real Jazz channel which is pretty much straight ahead. I have cds in my car which I play during driving , which is not very far. Right now the cds are The Mingus big band, Art Tatum, Milt Jackson.Bud Shank,Django Reinhardt,Carmen McRae and Hank Mobley. I think hat pretty much says what kind of jazz I dig. I am moldy, y'know. The newer styles, which seems to depend on rock and electric guitars, doesn't do a thing for me
