Glenda Robinson R.I.P.

I am profoundly sad to let you know that my ex-wife Glenda has passed away. The cancer that we thought we'd beaten came back with a vengeance seven months ago and she and her partner Michael put up a tough fight. Though we've been separated for over 3 years, we stayed in contact and she told me last week she'd decided to give up the fight and get into a 'gentle glide' on her way off the planet. She was at peace with her decision and I think looking forward to the end of her pain.
Only a few folks here had ever met her, but I know she was a presence that some folks felt as I posted over the years about our lives, together and apart. She was the most impressive woman I'd ever met, on every level. I am so sad that i can't even begin understand, but at the same time I am greatly relieved that her struggle came to a peaceful conclusion.
With love,
Doug

Doug,
As you know, Chris and I were two of the few.
We never forgot her and never will.
So sad. Our thoughts are with you.
Michael

Doug, though I never met you or Glenda, you shared so much of your lives with us over the years that I felt as though I had. I'm very sorry for your loss, and send my sincere condolences at this sad time.

even though we've communicated earlier today, I am still in shock and filled with sadness. even though I didn't know Glenda well, I do know that she was an extraordinary person. I'm so grateful that I got to meet her and correspond with her during her first battle. blessings to her and you and all the people who loved and appreciated her.

Doug, seems like she fought the good fight until she decided to no longer do so. Shows commendable spirit, character, and bravery. I'm sure she's resting in peace.

Doug: if it's possible and appropriate, would you please post a picture of beautiful Glenda, whose eyes and spirit I will never forget.

Doug, I was able to decipher part of that jumble of URLs to find this thumbnail size photo of Glenda with your dogs, but I'm sure that you intended to share a larger version. Please send me your Flickr info by PM and I'll try to assist. It may prove problematic if you have this photo on a privacy setting, which it appears to be on now.
Thanks.

Doug, either now or sometime in the future, please take a look at my instructions for posting an image on JT using the current version of Flickr: A heads-up for JT's Flickr usersIt might save time for both you and Ron if you try them now, but that's up to y'all.
One thing: In the last step of the instructions, I had to be subtle and tell people to pick up the URL (location) of the photo with the size that they want "the same way you did before." But if need be, Ron can tell you how to take that step in a PM.

Thank you, Doug, and my other friends who helped to get this wonderful picture up here. I cannot tell you how much this means to me. (Three memories for the "price of one"!!)
For those who never saw Glenda, I'm glad you can feast your eyes on this beauty. And she was even smarter and more creative than she was fabulous-looking.
R.I.P., my dear Glenda. And thank you so much again, Doug. I truly appreciate your efforts.

These days, having seen additions and subtractions, it goes by JT. But I'm guessing that even the newest members of the family are moved to sympathize with Doug (Jazzooo) by this thread alone.
