Jimmy Cantiello, in #1 of the Beer thread on July 4, 2013, wrote:Stay tuned because me and my fellow brewheads are gonna continue our conversation
about all things malty and frothy. Again, raising my pint to our dear departed John Norton
who loved his beer to the moon and back. Stay thirsty, my friend, wherever you are.

John was a nice guy. I was fortunate to have met him in person and lifted a few pints with him. RIP, my friend.

Indeed, John was a very nice guy. I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, but we had many fine exchanges online and by way of e-mail. He left us far too early and is greatly missed by many.

John was a deadhead, was into nature and posted some great historic photos on JC, so this video seems appropriate…

He was one of the solid core in The Alley. His posts were always interesting and funny.

It's a Jewish tradition to place a stone on a grave marker, simply as a way to show that you were there. I have nothing to add to this thread, other than I agree he was a good one and I wish I had had the chance to meet him in person, so I'm just leaving a stone here.

A loss that still gets to me, and always will. Glad to have kinda, sorta (stated humbly) known him.

I never met him either, but loved having the online friendship with him. He was clever, kind, knowledgable and funny.

I feel partially responsible for his handle of Jesus Marion Joseph. He originally posted as "Law Guy," I chided him for it and he changed it to Jesus Marion Joseph (a GREAT handle) in response.
