J.J. Cale dead at 74

I've always listened to the man's music, not often, not compulsively, but on a regular basis as a kid or teenager and since.
Didn't like the news a few hours ago.

The communication mentions: "Donations are not needed; but he was a great lover of animals so, if you like, donations can be made to your favourite local animal shelter."
Love that.
