The most important THANK YOU of all.

Ah shucks.

I think I would have quit posting anywhere if it hadn't been for this place.

With the exception of a brief time a few years ago, I have never posted anywhere else on the internet. It was always with this particular group. Some left and some came but there was always that core that remained. It's always been kind of like going to your favorite bar to hang with your drinking buddies. This new place might or might not succeed but you'll never know unless you try. So I have to give Scott and Ron props for putting out the effort.

Thanks to this site I get to interact with those that didn't head towards FB and some who joined the exodus before my arrival.

I'm also very encouraged by what we've experienced on this new experiment. Scott & I were certainly familiar with the format, but not all of what makes it come to life. We still have much to learn, but appreciate the spirit that folks are bringing to this new endeavor.

Thanks, and please feel free to invite a friend ... or several!

"Several friends". Wow, I'm dreaming now. All I got is my fleas. And they can't type.

That's great and all, but let's not jinx it with a mission accomplished just yet. Remember the old tale of the guy who jinxed it. Bad things happened to him.

Hopefully it took off fast enough to keep a little momentum for awhile.

I just re-read what I wrote and realized it came out kind of dickish. Sorry, I didn't mean it that way.

It was great motivation from Scott and Ron to get this up and running, but it's a shared responsibility to keep it active, engaging, and both a worthwhile release and resource for us and many others who will come to lurk and learn.

I for one will do that by introducing a new fake identity called Leroys, jack.
