I hope either Wisconsin, Virginia or Duke gets a shot at Kentucky before this thing is over. (I finally saw the Zags last night and don't think they'd be much competition). We really won't know how good Kentucky is if they get through this entire season without playing anybody.

Kentucky has to make it through the SEC championship "before this thing is over," and both A&M and Ole Miss took them to overtime this year. I think their number is coming up soon.

I don't agree with you: I think they've been playing to the level of their fairly pedestrian competition and also have improved as the year has gone on. But we'll see: if they DO lose in the SEC tournament, which of course is possible, they'll still be a 1-seed and I'll still want to see them play another really good team. A loss to A & M (or even our Razorbacks!) wouldn't prove much, I don't think. Shit happens.
