You're welcome, Scott. Thanks for your very kind, generous words. I'm glad that you persevered with this project, despite the level of frustration I perceived from you at various times.
I raise my glass to you, too. Not only to thank you for making this idea become a reality, but more importantly, for the friendship and respect you've shown me in recent times. We had a volatile relationship for some time on Jazz Corner, to say the least, but we've turned a corner, and that feels good.

Don't be silly. You're not indebted to me for
anything.
Our special friendship, born from an online jazz forum, is an amazing thing in itself. I cherish it.
Thanks for your kind words, as always, Valerie.

Respect for Ron is always implied with the "Father" honorific.

That honorific was bestowed upon me many years ago by Lois Gilbert. And, I was honored.
Dirt & I do share some things in common, however.

His kindness.
His sensitivity.
His sense of humor.
When I grow up (which may not ever happen) I want to be Ron Thorne.

He's a mensch for sure, and possibly the best friend I've never met.
Here's his theme song, "Killer Thorne":

I think I'm gonna hurl!
But first, a trip to the dentist. Yeah, that'll make Fadda feel just ducky.
Later,

That reminds me, I like him for his dental hygiene.

I like the Alaska stuff.
(Just thought I'd throw in a straight answer. And it seems like the right thing to do, since I don't know the guy.)

As long as I've read his missives he's never been aggressive.

I dunno, King Stoner. Seems like you're taking too much credit for Ron's disposition.

Scott, your "malignment" of Ron re the pm was cute but please don't drag it out cause it ceases to be amusing.
I agree with all the complimentary remarks about Ron listed above. did anyone list "patience"? I know Scott is kidding but he's just carrying it too far.
compared to the rest of us around her, Ron is a damn saint!! LOL

I've met Ron Thorne and believe me, he's no Jack Kennedy. Hell, he's not even a Dan Quayle.
