I've seen both. I wasn't saying Puig was
actually faster, I was just saying he appeared to be running as fast as I've ever seen when he went into higher gear after rounding second on that play. And it is possible (maybe) that the adrenaline of the moment did make him as fast as anyone???(for maybe 10 yards, anyway!)
This scouting report summary questions his hustle a bit and says he isn't the fastest from home to first..... but still rates him 50 out of 50 for speed.
