Perfect Things

Postby BeBop » August 21st, 2013, 9:33 am

The Economist newspaper: I really can't imagine how this staple in my life could be improved upon. (I'm speaking here of the printed version; the web version is another story.) Intelligent, humorous, timely, geographically comprehensive.

Lentils: Yes, they came up in a food thread here. Just love them. And guilt-free.

My main Post Office/Postmistress: She deals with all my eccentricites...and those of the 100 or so other eccentrics in my former hometown/current principal mailing address. It's a really wacky place. With the post office as the only public building, she holds the whole town together. Imagine herding squirrels on crack.

The color red: Works for anything. Cars. Underwear. Hair. Red lentils.

I think the idea that there are perfect things is one of those things that I actually believed for way too long. :)

Don't know about being perfect but a three minute egg comes close.
