Every Wednesday, a very talented pianist, Dang Tran, plays for our Kiwanis Club while we are having lunch. She mixes her music, but classical is her real forte. Her rapport covers vast ground from Bach to Ravel and those in between. She also plays some Asian pieces which are beautiful. Yesterday she gave a full program, joined with wonderfully talented young people on clarinet and cello. They played a Beethoven piece for that instrumentation which was delightful.

It was nice to get a bit of culchur.

Listening to Mozart Symphony No. 40 in G minor on XM radio as we "speak". Cup of joe by my side. Maybe it should be a spot of tea (pinky up, of course) instead.
