John Belushi is the samurai, right?

Not that much time today to put the headphones on, but... Managed to go through Tinseltown Rebellion and most of Shut Up and Play Your Guitar

It took me all this time to finally figure out that the three title means it's a Zappa thread.

The One we've been waiting for...
Hope 2013/2014 will be the year it finally happens (after so many false starts).

Meanwhile...
Going through most of the first half of the 80s over the last couple of days.
Am surprisingly well-disposed towards some albums from that period I sometimes skip during my annual Zappathon.

You Are What You Is
Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch (probably my favorite cover artwork of the FZ catalog)
Man From Utopia
Baby Snakes

Right now:
Them Or Us

Next in line:
Thing-Fish

Thanks for that, jaka. My favorite Zappa band was him, Ponty, the Underwoods, the Fowlers, and Ralph Humphrey.

Alan---

FYI, there's a cleverly disguised Frank Zappa thread in this forum:

Thanks. I'm kinda dim.

I'd been away from FZ for 30 years after become a jazz snob and recently started transferring his records to the computer and soon realized that it didn't sound great. I purchased the 2012 edition of his work on CD, half of which I've never heard before. Fantastic!

It was this or the red Ferrari.

I almost went for both, but the trunk of the Ferrari was definitely too small to contain all the Zappa discs I own, especially considering that with the 2012 reissues, I have many of them twice now. :)

Apart from some quite tiring hectic editing during some solos, it's a pleasure to watch (and listen to) this band play, especially Ruth Underwood, and the few Bruce Bickford clay animations are pretty good.
A good one!
