Doug, there is a specific thread with instructions for that. Click here<
You'll see the YouTube and Vimeo options. Click the Share button on YT and copy the URL which is highlighted (in gray on FF). The embed code does not work here.

Re: Non-Jazz Videos
Not that it's something rare, or my most notable discovery on it, but surely the video I watched most often on YouTube these past few years.
Everytime I'm feeling down, I get back to this, and am sometimes too lazy to look for the vhs or dvd around the house.
So, here you go, a round of applause for Jaka's favorite anti-depressant (along with vodka martini, but the latter belongs to another thread...):

Shostakovich Violin concerto no. 1, part 3 of 4, Repin, P. Järvi, Orchestre de Paris
Prefer Oistrach, but this will do.

Re: Non-Jazz Videos
For the best results by far, stick with this one from beginning to end (it's only 7+ minutes long). Presented for the audio element rather than the video element. Lead: Joe Ligon

Re: Non-Jazz Videos
It's not >other music<, it's Oscar Petersons music, but the art of Norman McLaren is very much different than any other:

Not jazz, but I didn't know where to put it:
Surely not all of a sudden. Less than half of a sudden at best.
