I don't know Mr. Stephens, but I've heard his music. Apparently, he has a rare kidney disorder and needs a transplant. As a result his gigging income has been seriously curtailed and he is having some financial difficulties. Here is a crowdfunding initiative that I heard about from Oran Etkins Facebook feed, have a look and help out if you can.
