Guitarist Mike Stern Injured

I have learned of a recent accident in which guitarist Mike Sterns fell and broke both shoulders while hailing a cab in New York City.

Here is the only (redundant) information I've been able to find, this from Mike's website:

Mike Stern Summer Tour

Mike injured his shoulder and is following his doctor's recommendations, so he was unable to be apart of the Mike Stern/Bill Evans Band tour in July. However, these shows WILL STILL HAPPEN! Dean Brown and Brian Baker are filling in. Mike hopes you enjoy these shows with Dean/Brian and this incredible band! More updates on Mike and the schedule coming soon.

Shows/Clinics

Mike is not currently on his summer tour with Bill Evans due to a shoulder injury. Rest assured he will be back on the road as soon as he can! He wants his fans to know he is very sorry for missing these concerts, and not being able to see all of you! Please go out and support Bill Evans, Dean Brown, Darryl Jones, Dennis Chambers (through July 23), and then Bill and Darryl with Brian Baker and Keith Carlock, (July 25 through 31) as they travel through Europe.
