I know it on occasion borders on easy listening (or is it effortless listening?) but this has always been one of those pieces that makes be glad I found it again and put it on.
I also think many acid/neo-jazz groups owe it a nod.
I'll have to go back to it someday then.

How did Parallel Realities age, mjb?
Think I remember trying to listen to it about 10 years ago and thinking it sounded dated already by then.

Re: What Are You Listening To?
Thanks! Hmm, let me see, I may have a dropbox account somewhere (apparently not using it very often :) ) but I can also check out "Farm" on Spotify. Just browsed and it's available there. I must admit I didn't listen to any of their albums after "Where You Been". Probably time to...

Not the same decade, more than 2 actually between the two of them.
Probably not the same production values either though.

Re: What was your first rock concert?
Trying to sort memories from a time when I spent way too much time in classical concert halls, attending shows by the Ensemble InterContemporain on a weekly basis...
Hmm, actual first one must have been a gig by some obscure punk band.
First notorious one: Peter Gabriel @ Bercy, Paris, 1987

Bill Stewart, pretty sure, yes.
Teamwork, huh? That's the best of things. I miss it most of the time.
