Malware
When I open the site there often is an intruder which will keep on no matter how many times I try to close it. Is some kind of security crap. It's coming from your site and my protection software doesn't work on it.

Re: MLB — 2015
I wish they would quit play "God Bless America" in the 7th inning. 9/11, a one time event, was 14 years ago. "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" should be the only song which should be played in the stretch inning. I wish they would lose the fucking loud rock music, too.

Re: Food For Thought
I tried a Lydia Bastianich egg dish today. Break eggs into a cold non-stick plan which had a bit of oil. Add salt, a sprinkle of dried oregano and grated Parmesan, cover pan and cook for about five minutes over low heat. Excellent and different. I make amy pizza dough in the Cuisinart processor - ha...

The Cubs would be in first place in the East. The Mets don;t have the division competition (Cards, Bocs) that face the Northsiders. who have to play those tough teams a lot of times

Re: Food For Thought
When I make pizza, I don't use sauce, just good raw tomatoes or Sam Marzano with garlic, etc. The heat of the over cooks th tomatoes and they come out much sweeter.

Re: Howard Rumsey, West Coast jazz pioneer, age 97 — R.I.P.
Back in the 50s, I spend many happy times at the great waterfront dive, The Lighthouse, and soaked up that great music that Howard put together. Bob Cooper, Bud Shank, Shorty Rogers, Frank Rosolino, Shelly Manne and so many other greats gave us the real West Coast jazz. Bebop is forever.

I'm beer brining some hot smoked chicken thighs today. I think some grits would work with that.

A favorite summer dish tonight, diced heirloom tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, parmesan, OVOO, hot orachetti dumped over the cold stuff. Great dish.

Re: MLB — 2015
Please let me go on the record. The Mets are simply the greatest team ever. Any decade. Any century. Any galaxy, universe and/or solar system. They won in ten innings last night after some reliever who I never heard of gave up three runs, blowing a nine strikeout gem by my man Jacob deGrom, last ye...

Opah is a wonderful fish. Santa Monica Sea Foods is a great source.
Tonight, rotisserie roast chicken stuffed with cilantro and garlic and garlic sauteed chard with more garlic.
No vampires around here.

I wish we had "like" buttons here on Jazztalk. But June, this way you can address JT readers directly, express your "liking" in your own words, and say anything else you want to say in the same post. IMO, that's much more participatory and "social." (Is it obvi...
