Re: What Are You Listening To?
These guys [ François Corneloup (soprano & baritone saxes), Claude Tchamitchian (double bass), Eric Echampard (drums) ] haven't played together for the last 15 years. Really looking forward to attending their reunion concert next week at a fantastic venue in Montreuil, near Paris, and catching u...

Wow. Listened to this one I picked up at my favorite record store a few days ago with absolutely no idea about who these guys were and what to expect, and I think it's a wonder.
Are others by Lanegan as good?

Not that a bad TV week.
Season 3 of Borgen just started here, as well as Season 4 of Downton Abbey.
Still enjoying both very much.

I recently re-bought several Talk Talk CDs that I had previously traded away or had on cassette years ago. I don't think I really appreciated how good they were when I first had them. Right, they're pretty amazing. Too bad it all stopped after Laughing Stock and the solo effort of Mark Hollis. The ...

Apart from some quite tiring hectic editing during some solos, it's a pleasure to watch (and listen to) this band play, especially Ruth Underwood, and the few Bruce Bickford clay animations are pretty good.
A good one!
