We will have a slightly modified celebration this year due to our grandson Reed being involved in a Little League Baseball All-Star tournament which is ongoing. So, for the 1st time ever, our son Darren will not be in Alaska on the 4th of July, nor will his family members. Patti & I will join our daughter and her family for a cookout and hangout at their home, along with Patti's Dad. Prior to the death of Patti's Mom, we always drove to their home in Hope, Alaska and enjoyed a mini family reunion on this holiday. We miss those days.
