Ron Carter is not only prolific, he's played with a vast number of musicians and led a number of his own groups, as well. Among many albums I've heard, I really like much of his output with Herbie Hancock, including some trio work with Tony Williams in the drum chair.

And, of course, Ron's period with Miles Davis, including this one, another favorite, with Herbie Hancock, saxophonist Wayne Shorter, and Tony on drums.



The list could be unmanageable.
