Re: Baseball Great Minnie Minoso Dies
Anybody else remember seeing him play live? He always appeared to be so happy to be alive and playing ball in Comiskey Park. At the time that didn't seem unusual to me... as a kid I had no idea of the indignities he must have incurred on the road -- and even in parts of Chicago.

Cephas Bowles, the President and CEO of WBGO for more than 20 years passed away on Saturday February 21st from complications of multiple myeloma. I'm still having a hard time talking about it. Here's the obit from the Star Ledger. http://www.nj.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2015/02/cephas_bowles_wbgo_...

Re: Clark Terry — R.I.P.
He was such a lovely person - besides being a wonderful musician and educator. I don't think he had a clue how long his shadow was. Hadn't seen him in a long time, but always enjoyed his company. It was hard to see and hear about how many physical challenges he suffered. I'm glad there is no more of...

$10 Million for delivering the news for half an hour 5 days a week? :O
I'm sorry, I realize he's probably not the only seriously overpaid news anchor, but that amount seems obscene to me. :P
