Re: I've Just Launched the Ultimate FRANK REHAK website

Yeah, that's a fun track! Jim was/is really well-known for his technique books, especially the volumes titled Advanced Techniques for the Modern Drummer , and for advocating and teaching the famous Moeller method . He was a student of Mr. Moeller. What player are you using on the site, Doug? I ...

Re: Streaming music kills jazz and more......

The only way musicians will make money in future is by adding value that cant be had in digital forms. Better covers and notes, additional links to other exclusive product, and more a relationship with the consumer. I don't agree with all of this, Henry. I'm all for attractive, artful album covers ...

What a nice way to memorialize a friend, Doug.

I can see that it was exhaustive work, with more to come. I'm enjoying the exploration.

Re: Food For Thought

Patti and I headed north about 40 miles for lunch yesterday. It was a gloriously sunny, warm day (73°), so we felt like a drive to the sleepy little town of Palmer in the Matanuska Valley, famous for its wonderful produce this time of year. We had a nice lunch in a cafe in an old hotel, the...
