Paul Simon has been well off financially since Sounds of Silence became a hit in 1965. I can name a song written by a "poor Paul Simon" was Hey Schoolgirl, which he recorded with Artie under the name "Tom and Jerry" while they were in high school. (It isn't a very good song either)

I was in a bar last night and saw on a TV there that there were two baseball teams playing that I'd never heard of -- the Marlins and the Mets. How long have these teams been around, and what wvwr happened to the Indians and the Tigers? Were those teams not good enough?

The Marlins and the Mets are very new and carnivorous baseball teams. They ate the Indians and Tigers. The Mets and Marlins have been around forever, but only joined MLB during what is known as "modern times"
