This place is coming up in the world to the point it's worthy of spammers.

Relax, Clint. I sent this jerk/spammer/bot a pm and ccd Scott and Ron. Hopefully, when they get a spare moment they'll zap this guy/spammer/bot.

Have been lurking until now. There seems to be no spam filter on this board, it seems to be vulnerable - see the many posts by members prasiatiesY: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=134 and ClislinoM: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=135

[edit]

Oops, just noticed the previous posts. Sorry.

Clint, eat some chiles, have a cool one and dig some tunes, man.

Shit happens. Scott is busy & I was gone all day. When I returned home and saw the message from Jimmy, I evaluated things. The situation has been handled.

Relax, moldy. ;)

If a member sees a potential spammer, please send Scott and me a PM so that we can deal with it as quickly as possible.

I think I might have broken something.

All I did was click the quote button.

"Not Acceptable!

An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security."

It's also gone back to signing me out after almost every other click. I have had to log back on @ least 10 times in the last 10-15 minutes.

No, haven't done anything with the cookie. Now it's working fine and I haven't changed a thing.

I haven't seen that error either. Did some checking. It's either a server or mod security configuration issue.

You should be able to see a Delete post area above the word Subject (upper left in windown) when you click on the Edit button on your post.
There is a small box which can be checked. Check that box then click on Submit. It will ask you for permission to delete, saying "[ Once deleted the post cannot be recovered ]". Click Yes and it's gone.

Please let me know if you have problems.

There isn't any delete option above the subject and no small box to check.

I changed nothing.

My instructions may have been a bit unclear, BT. You must first click on Image before anything else.

Beside being clear. It's the first thing that you have to click to delete a post on any BB.

It's also gone again.

For some reason this board's software doesn't like my browser. haha

I will figure it out later. We're going to dinner.

Edited in. When I check for this post it's there. I check post 68 in this thread. It's not.

I meant the delete function, Ron. It doesn't appear in every post I checked. It appears in some and not in others.

The delete option is apparently time sensitive. It appears only those posts I just posted are the ones I can delete. I can't with older posts.

As I mentioned last night. I could delete post 70, but not 68. Today, I no longer have the option with post 70.

Right now this post shows the delete post option. I expect later it will no longer be available.

Sorry, BT, I misunderstood your comment re: deleting an "old" post.

Please be patient and we'll work it out.
