Indian Classical Music. Let's give it up for the ragas and the talas, the bols and the shrutis.

Anybody in London? I'll be there from Sept. 19-22 for the Darbar Festival at the Southbank Centre (http://www.darbar.org/).

Thanks so much for that clip, Tom. I'm not familiar with these classical forms, but thoroughly enjoyed Nirmalya's fine voice, as well as the other musicians supporting him.

I had forgotten that you were taking tabla lessons. I'm so damned envious. What extraordinary instruments!
