Chris Anderson

Never knew about Chris Anderson, until I heard Barry Harris talking about him in a masterclass.

Been pretty much listening to him non-stop for the past couple of weeks.

Chris Anderson was an underrated pianist who made very few records as a leader. I have one of his albums on CD, My Romance, a 1960 VeeJay recording.

Check out Anderson's recording, "A Blues One." I believe this one is with Ray Drummond and Billy Higgins.

I got my copy of >None But The Lonely Heart< from a NAIM high fidelity dealer.
Best wishes from the south-west corner of Germany

Not quite, Scott. Lois contacted Stanley and urged him to join her forum and give me an argument. That's what I objected to, she was trying to create controversy so she could drum up business. I used to help her with the forum, but she turned out to be rather disgusting and unprincipled. The two actually deserve each other. :)

I just found this interesting clip with Chris Anderson singing as well as playing piano.

I also found two very interesting and informative interviews conducted by Ted Panken. Click on the link below.
