I use the Amazon Cloud player on my iPad: http://www.engadget.com/2013/10/29/amaz ... es-to-mac/
It has a shuffle and can toggle between music stored on your device and up in their cloud. If you have Prime you get space for music.

It's time for a rebirth, a clean slate. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2880/10903941433_e1fb3d33e1_b.jpg and an excuse to use this picture. :smug: I for one hope this board continues. I received the William Parker Wood Flute Songs the other day. I fell asleep listening to it last night.

Thomas Chapin - Sideman gigs
I've been eating up all of Chapins music. My favorites include: Anima, Menagerie Dreams, Ride, Skypiece. All of his work is just great. He should be an inspiration to all musicians. I'd like to explore some of his side work. I'm not terribly deep into Mario Pavone's recordings and would be intereste...

Re: Cameras & Photography
I love the food shot - the shadows make it for me. In fact all of them are nice. You live in a beautiful place. And thank you BF and Valerie. Here is another new one from last week. It's Washington Street in Brighton, just outside the center of the town. I don't know the name of the church but I sho...

That is a nice camera and it takes museum quality photos. I'm also looking forward to viewing your pics.
Here's a recent one of mine. I haven't shared it beyond this group...is it any good?

My list would include Benny Green, Danilo Perez, Don Byron, & Dan Barrett. Nicholas Payton is on the edge. I think these two are more me than them: Roy Hargrove and Christian McBride. Both are wonderful but I feel neither has made their masterpiece recording. They need to try harder. Stalled - J...

Re: Cameras & Photography
Coda. Is the camera really a point and shoot? Do you play with a lot of settings to get the results you do (especially the night shots with the light source facing upwards)? The three cameras I use are all on the small size. The two Sigmas are a lot different than the Sony and the Sony is unique wh...

Thank you for the kind words. I'm addicted and carry a camera about everywhere with me. This was taken this summer in the midday sun. It's out of the Sigma. I just love how it renders the clouds. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3674/10299155565_1cf3b2fc44_b.jpg This is one of the few remaining all woo...

This is a light show that the wife dragged me to tonight. It's on the Charles by the shell. This is right out of the camera with a little noise reduction and sharpening. Re: Computer questions (etc.)
Ah, I misunderstood your problem. Are you sure you don't have one of these boot disks laying around? You likely made one when you first created your backup process. Windows would have kept reminding you that you need one of these. If you have a different type of backup process - like Acronis, they t...

Hi Ron, You may just have a corrupted file that's causing the error. It's been a while since I've used XP but I think there is a control panel. Locate the System and Security section and look for create and format hard disk partitions. Find your hard drive and select properties. In the properties se...
